Craig Enger was born in Maryland, graduated cum laude from Syracuse University, and has an M.S. from Johns Hopkins University. He has worked as a senior consultant in Washington D.C., with clients ranging from the Smithsonian Institution to DOD.

As a musician, he has written and composed more than 200 songs, which are now being made availabe. Primarily a self-taught guitarist, he studied classical guitar briefly, and later with fingerstyle virtuoso Duck Baker. Yet his focus has always been original songwriting.

He also pursues many other interests.
